Handmade Elder Futhark Rune Sets

Each set is made from ethically foraged wood. I forage in local woods especially after storms for offering shed by the trees.

Each set is made from consecutive pieces of the same branch. Sawn by hand with my little Japanese saw and sanded by hand for the perfect finish. They come with all their natural perfect imperfections.

Traditionally Odin is the Ruler of the Runes so I make all my rune sets on a Wednesday - Odin's day. Keeping with tradition I draw the symbols on with red okra , say the name of each rune as I burn them into the wood and pass each rune through the smoke of the seven sacred herbs to seal them.

The size of the Runes sets vary from an inch to a maximum of 2 inch depending on the wood available - if your looking for a specific size then please message first to see if I have the size in stock otherwise I will send what I have.
